Meet the Ink & Hammer team

Ink & Hammer headquarters is located in Dayton, OH, but we travel all over for our work. There aren’t many hand crafted sign painters left, and we are proud of what we do.

JOSH

has been running I&H for 11 years. He has his hands on every part of the business, from the painting, to the design process, even the fabrication. Josh is the creative heart at the helm of the ship, keeping this craft alive.

AL

is Ink & Hammer’s sign painter apprentice. Al has been learning from Josh & helping to complete the hand painting that each unique project requires. He was born in Peru & raised in Japan, and loves being a part of the growing Ink & Hammer business.

MABEL

is queen of the workshop. She is head of quality inspection & accounting. She also reminds us to play fetch at least once a day.
